Offender and Complex Needs

Target provide accommodation and support for vulnerable and homeless adults, with a connection to Sheffield, who are:

  • Current offenders
  • Ex-offenders
  • Those at risk of offending
  • Those with complex needs.

They aim to support individuals towards independent living and an eventual crime-free lifestyle.

Referrals for this project must be made by Sheffield City Council through the Sheffield Housing Pathway (0114 273 6306 or via email on between 8:30am and 5:00pm weekdays). It is not possible to self-refer to this service.

Mental Health Services

Target’s Mental Health Project delivers support and accommodation to promote mental health recovery and growth towards independence. They provide both long term and short term accommodation in either shared houses or one bedroom flats that are fully furnished. Service users are supported to maintain their tenancy and to develop independent living skills.

To be eligible for this project, you must have either a mental health condition or a learning disability. You must have either an SDS budget in place or have eligible social care needs in order to obtain an SDS budget.

They accept referrals from health and social care professionals, other support or accommodation agencies and self referrals. The referral form can be found on their website.
