Sheffield Psychosexual Therapy Service (formerly Relationship and Sexual Service) is an NHS service for adults (over 18 years) who are experiencing relationship difficulties or sexual problems. Often these may relate to the mental and emotional aspects of sexuality or have underlying psychological causes.

This may include: erectile dysfunction, premature or delayed ejaculation, difficulties with arousal (both male and female), concerns about sexual desire, low libido, genital or sexual pain or difficulties with penetration.

The service offers assessment, diagnosis, treatment and therapeutic programmes for individuals and couples. Treatments offered include specialist psychotherapy, brief supportive therapy, and behavioural programmes for men, women and couples.

Referrals are accepted referrals from GPs, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, Sheffield Health and Social Care and in some instances, other health professionals.  A referral form can be downloaded by clicking here.
