No Panic Sheffield
No Panic Sheffield offers a number of self-help support groups that meet regularly in Sheffield. There are usually 5-12 people in attendance. The groups are based on CBT techniques and peer support to help people find ways of managing their anxiety. Those with depression and low mood are also welcome to come.
New members are welcome; family members and carers can also attend. The groups are free (a small donation is welcome to help cover running costs of renting a room). You can download a referral form on their website and email it to email@example.com.
Trained volunteer facilitators run the groups. They usually meet weekly on Wednesday evenings (6.30 – 8.30pm) and Thursday mornings (10am – 12noon) at the Quaker Meeting House in Sheffield city centre. Please visit the website to check dates of groups and events.
