Family and Friends Support
The charity runs a specialist support service for people bereaved by a suicide directly caused or influenced by gambling. The support is free, independent and available for as long as you need it. This can range from emotional and practical bereavement support, support through investigations and inquests, and peer support.
Their specialist team provide trauma-informed psychological support for adults, and information and support on how to care for bereaved children. They can also support and advocate for access to additional local or specialist therapy and support where needed.
They provide an ongoing community for people to connect through peer support, gatherings and online spaces, where families find understanding, connection and hope.
Gambling with Live also provide advocacy support for those who wish to speak out or seek answers. It includes support with complaints to the Gambling Commission, legal proceedings, and managing press interest. The service is free to use and is not time limited.
