They provide vocational support and sustainable employment as a therapeutic tool to improve mental health conditions and overall wellbeing. They deliver support programmes to help people to gain and retain work and improve poor mental health alongside supporting businesses to adopt healthy workplace practices.
Their services in Sheffield include:
- Vocational Support Service – provides support to people who are unemployed to find meaningful employment. Including advice and guidance in identifying where you want to be and support in getting you there; personal development training; wellness coaching (such as development of coping strategies; support with CV writing, application forms, interview techniques and job search tips; volunteering; access to job opportunities; ongoing support to help maintain your success.
- Job Retention Service – providing support to those in work with disabilities and health conditions to retain employment. This can include involvement of a job coach, or liaising with employers around adjustments and mitigations.
- Support for Employers and Workplaces – Support local businesses with their skills, recruitment, and retention needs as well as supporting with quality marks and diversifying their workforce.
