Autistic Children and Carers Together (ACCT) is a parent-led support group for young people with autism and their families. ACCT run activity groups for children and teenagers with Aspergers and Autism, as well as family days out and other trips. Siblings are welcome too. They also host meetings for parents and carers.
Members are invited to all ACCT activities, receive a newsletter and have use of their resource library. Membership is free and full details are on their website.
Current Groups
ACCT members have access to the following activities (please note that some require booking):
- Acctivate Children’s Club – for children aged 5-12 on Saturdays, 9:45am-12:15pm
- Teenage Youth Club – for teenagers aged 13-18 on Wednesdays, 7-9pm
- ACCT Academy Football Club – for ages 7-17 on Fridays 6-7pm
- InterACCT Club – a performing arts group using creativity through fun inclusive games, ice-breakers, and team building activities on Tuesdays 6:30-8pm (term-time)
- In-person and online Dungeons & Dragons Club – limited places, on Mondays 6-9pm and Saturdays 9.30-12.30pm
- ACCTing Out -18-25 Social Group meet fortnightly on Tuesday evenings
- Quiet Swimming sessions – fortnightly on Sundays 4:30-5:30
- Parents Meetings – fortnightly on Tuesday evenings
