Resonate Sheffield is a weekly community music group, using Indonesian gamelan instruments.
The gamelan is a family of instruments such as gongs, chimes, drums, and xylophones, and is the traditional music of Indonesia. No musical experience is needed. Sessions are free. No referral is necessary, but they ask you email [email protected] if you are thinking of taking part (or you have any questions).
When: Every Thursday 10am-12pm
Where: Lower ground floor hall of the Highfield Trinity Church (access via the back door on Holland Place)
Resonate Sheffield is run by Good Vibrations, which is a national charity based in Sheffield. They support people in challenging circumstances through communal music-making.
Please note: events may not be running on bank holidays and over the Christmas period. Please double check with the organiser (before attending) if you are unsure.
