Men Up North run informal meet ups for men. These are a safe space for men to share how they are feeling, listen to others, and feel part of a community.

Their Walk and Talk group meets at the Hunters Bar roundabout entrance to Endcliffe Park at 10:30am to finish around 1:30pm on the 3rd Sunday of the month.

There is also a group which meets on the 1st Sunday of the month.

The walk is aimed at all fitness levels and is more about the walking and talking than just walking!
Typically we walk up to Forge Dam cafe, have a break then walk back down to the starting point. Depending on weather and fitness levels we have the option of going further from Forge Dam.

You are not required to sign up to join the meet up. They are informal and run by volunteers. They are not coaching sessions or group therapy but are still a safe place to share, listen and gain an understanding of the different issues faced by men regarding mental health, and what it means to be a man in the present day.

If you want to keep up to date with additional events they run, such as gardening, walking, cycling, foraging etc then register via their website menupnorth.co.uk/join-us

Please note: events may not be running on bank holidays and over the Christmas period. Please double check with the organiser (before attending) if you are unsure.
