The Corner is a free and confidential substance misuse service for young people, aged 10-18, who are experiencing problems with drugs and alcohol in Sheffield. They provide both one-to-one and group support.

They also provide advice and information to family members and significant others who may be worried about or affected by a young person’s substance misuse.

To refer a young person, please click use their referral portal. Please be aware that they cannot accept referrals where the young person hasn’t given their consent. This can also be used to refer a parent, carer or family member.

Support offered

The Corner provides support to young people experiencing issues or wanting advice around their substance and alcohol use. They also offer support to parents and carers.  This includes:

  • one to one support
  • group work
  • a prescribing service and prescribing treatment
  • harm reduction advice
  • training for professionals
