Referral to SOHAS
Advisers are based in many GP surgeries throughout Sheffield.
You can go to your GP or any other clinical or support worker and ask to be referred to a SOHAS adviser. If there is a SOHAS adviser in your GP surgery, you can ask the surgery to book you in for occupational health advice.
If you don’t have an adviser present in your surgery, you can ring SOHAS on 0114 275 5760 or fill in the contact form at the bottom of their Work and Health Service page.
Working Carers
SOHAS Working Carers service helps carers if they are struggling to stay in employment. They can give you help and support to stay in your job, and if needed talk to your employer and provide them with support on how they help you.
Their website also has resources for patients and professionals including leaflets and guides, and details of training courses.
