Sheffield Flourish is a charity which works collaboratively on innovative digital and community projects centred on mental health. They recognise the untapped strengths of people who have experienced mental health challenges.
Sheffield Flourish is their main website. It features personal stories about mental health written by people in Sheffield.
Within the city, they support six community enterprises representing the diverse interests of the community: Brunsmeer Awareness FC, CAST, Connected Worlds, Oasis, Open Door Music and Flippin’ Mental Theatre. They also run one-off activities and courses, to find out more you can sign up to their newsletter.
Many of these enterprises run free, weekly activity groups. You can find a full timetable on these groups and how to join on the Flourish website.
Sheffield Flourish currently deliver the Sheffield Mental Health Guide (which is this website!), and Sheffield Suicide Support and Prevention. They have also created MyToolkit, an online space where you can create your own toolkit to support your mental health and wellbeing, using resources from the Sheffield Mental Health Guide.
