Marriage Care is a national charity with branches throughout the UK. They work to help couples (married or not) to build and sustain strong, fulfilling, healthy relationships, and they provide support in times of relationship difficulty.

Services

  • Relationship counselling – currently offered via video appointments. Marriage Care charge a fixed £20 registration fee but can be flexible with ongoing fees.  You will not be turned away because you cannot afford to give very much. You can go on your own or with a partner.
  • Marriage preparation – there are two types of courses, one for individual couples and one for groups. They take place on Zoom.
  • Relationship education resources – you can download these from the website.
  • Couple 50+ MOT – a brief couple intervention programme that promotes resilience in couples during the transition to retirement.

They also provide online information and advice including a blog, a specialist members area and a list of crisis support for those who may be struggling.

Please note, Marriage Care does not have a base in Sheffield
