Heeley City Farm is a community-focused urban farm. They are a registered charity and are open every day of the year (apart from Christmas day). They offer community-based training and youth enterprise. Admission to the farm is free.
The services they offer are:
- Adult Supported Placements – Adults with varying learning disabilities and support needs can explore and develop new skills, discover their strengths, and connect with others.
- Secondary Alternative Provision – Offers secondary school students who struggle in mainstream settings a chance to learn in a more adaptable, hands-on environment.
- Primary Alternative Provision – supports children aged 7–11 who struggle in traditional school settings.
- Dementia Support Services – a safe, welcoming environment for individuals living with dementia and their carers.
