Chaplaincy Team at Sheffield Health Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (SHPU) are a multi-faith team providing support for service users on inpatient wards, their families and carers, and for staff.
A member of the team can meet you face to face (at one of the hospitals) or talk on the phone. They are not trained counsellors but offer a compassionate, listening ear. They are here for everyone, whether they have a religious faith or belief or not.
Please feel free to contact them on [email protected] or 0114 271 8022.
They also provide multi-faith rooms at SHPU in-patient sites, which you are welcome to use if you are visiting a loved one, as a place to pray and to have a quiet space to reflect and find strength and peace.
Chaplains regularly visit all SHPU inpatient sites to lead groups and worship services and to talk with service users individually.
