Adult Autism and ADHD Support Hub offers free support to autistic people and those with ADHD, aged 16 and above, and their (informal) carers and families. It is run as part of Mental Health Matters a national charity delivering mental health and social care services.
The Hub provides a space where autistic adults and those with ADHD can meet other individuals who might be experiencing the same things. They offer group sessions, face-to-face, phone call, email or video consultations.
Their range of support includes:
- Confidence Building
- Understanding and information around diagnosis support
- Finding out what is happening within Sheffield to support with other avenues or support and/or social opportunities
- Employment Support
- Family Support
- Mental health advice/signposting
- Peer Support
The Adult Autism and ADHD Support Hub is open:
- Monday 10am-3:30pm
- Wednesday 10am-3:30pm
- Sunday 5:30pm-8:30pm (virtual support only – no face-to-face appointments)
You can self refer, or be referred by a health professional. This service is for people who live in the Sheffield area.
You don’t need a formal diagnosis to access support through the hub, it is also available to those awaiting diagnosis or on a pathway to diagnosis.
