University of Sheffield Students' Union Advice Centre

The Student Advice Centre is a confidential, professional and non-judgemental service, providing support, advice and representation to University of Sheffield students on finance, benefits, immigration, employment, housing, consumer, tax, debt, student support, academic issues etc.

They also have specialist advisors on housing, money, immigration and academic issues, and help with reviews and represent at tribunals. 

To see an adviser, please book an appointment by phone, by e-mail or by coming to the Student Advice Centre Reception Desk.

The service operates Mon, Wed, Fri 9am - 5pm, Tues and Thurs 9am - 6pm, and during holidays is open 9am - 4pm.

University Counselling Service

The University Counselling Service is a free and confidential service available to students and staff, offering drop-in sessions and appointments with a team of trained counsellors. The service also offers workshops, group sessions and online self-help resources:

Nightline

Nightline is a confidential, anonymous listening and information service provided by student volunteers. Opening times are 8pm - 8am (during term time):
