The Terminus Initiative in Lowedges was set up by a partnership of local churches and runs several services for the local community.
Healthy Living Centre
Runs events promoting better health & wellbeing for the local community in Lowedges, Batemoor & Jordanthorpe. Check the Facebook page for details. Currently runs Community Food Growing Project, community lunches (including cooking), boxing club, children's activities, information about local courses and other events. Previous groups have included dance classes, mental wellbeing sessions.
Women's Conversation Club
This is for asylum seekers, refugees & migrant women. Runs every Tues 1 - 3pm at the Michael Church, Lowedges Rd. Free creche. Call Pam for details 0114 237 8724.
Me Time! Social Cafe
