South Yorkshire Housing Association
South Yorkshire Housing Association (SYHA) is a charitable, not-for-profit organisation governed by a voluntary board. SYHA owns and manages more than 6000 homes throughout Sheffield and offers specific housing projects aimed at people with support needs.
Some of the specific services and projects that SYHA offer include:
Connect 3 is delivered in partnership with Sheffield Mind. It provides a housing-focused mental health service for people in Sheffield. There are three elements to the service depending on the circumstances of the individual: short-term supported accommodation; 'transitional landlord' service working with clients to manage their tenancy; and floating support where clients are visited in their own homes to provide housing support.
9 One One
A housing development in the Broomhall area of Sheffield providing supported accommodation to 29 people with mental health issues. Residents may also have drug and alcohol problems, a history of offending or be people who are struggling with independent living due to leaving an institution. Staff help people develop the independent living skills they need such as help with addiction problems,cooking skills and confidence building.

The Cluster Project offers supported accommodation to 34 residents with a range of different needs including mental health or drugs or alcohol issues. The project covers a range of areas within Sheffield including Crookesmoor, Lower Manor, Broomhall and Gleadless.

The Sheffield Thursday Project is a housing related support service for a generic client group aged 18 and over. The project supports 110 clients who are homeless or at risk of being homeless to sustain their new tenancy.

The Beaufort Project
This project provides accommodation for 18 adults with enduring mental health difficulties and complex needs.

Support and Management Service (SAMS)
The SAMS team manage a range of properties providing long-term accommodation for people with various learning difficulties, mental health needs and physical disabilities. The project works closely with a variety of other care providers to provide care and support to residents.

Take Notice from SYHA offers services to people who are in reciept of a health & social care budget and can help with putting together a support plan. Services which can be offered include:
- Managing your mental and physical health
- Housing advice
- Support with daily living skills
