Sheffield Drugs Service (Non-Opiates) - Sidney Street
The Non-Opiates Service is provided by Sheffield Health & Social Care NHS Foundation Trust and is comprised of a team of workers trained to offer assessment, support and interventions to people using any non-opiate drug/drugs (including cannabis, amphetamines, steroids, cocaine and crack cocaine and new psychoactive substances (or 'legal highs')). They offer services from their base on Sidney St in Sheffield City Centre and outreach into other services and communities around the city.
For 'opiate' problems (including heroin, codeine or other opiate-based painkillers) you need to access Sheffield Drugs (Opiates) Service at the Fitwilliam Centre.
You can self-refer to this service over the telephone or in person or you can be referred by a professional such as a GP, pharmacist or social worker.
The service is delivered Monday, Tuesday, Friday 9-5pm; Wednesday 9-5pm with late clinic 5-7pm 'Juice Clinic' for steroid users; Thursday: 9-7pm.
