Sheffield Drugs (Opiates) Service - The Fitzwilliam Centre
The Opiates Service is provided by Sheffield Health & Social Care NHS Foundation Trust and is comprised of a large team of health and social care professionals trained to work with people who are experiencing opiate (drug/drugs) addiction problems (this can include naturally occurring opiates like heroin and morphine and synthetic (man-made) opiates like methadone and buprenorphine). They provide assessment and treatment services, including substitution medication, harm reduction services and talking therapies.
For 'non-opiate' problems (including cannabis, amphetamines, steroids, cocaine and crack cocaine and new psychoactive substances (or 'legal highs') you need to access Sheffield Drugs (non-Opiates) Service at Sidney Street.
You can self-refer to this service over the telephone or in person or you can be referred by a professional such as a GP, pharmacist or social worker.
The service is delivered: Monday, Tuesday and Friday 9-5pm; Wednesday and Thursday 9-8pm
