SACMHA Health & Social Care

SACMHA is a charitable organisation established in 1988 in response to the mental health needs of people of African or Caribbean descent, though the support they now offer is to people from any ethnic background. They will also offer support to people in need of assistance because of their age, youth, disability, financial hardship or social disadvantage.  Languages spoken include Somali, Swahili and French.

SACMHA aims to provide a range of culturally appropriate services to both male and female from the age of 18 across Yorkshire, Humberside and the Nottinghamshire region.  There is a charge for most of their services however this is usually paid through 'individual budgets' - please see website or contact them for further details.
