Neurological Enablement Service (NES)

The Neurological Enablement Service (NES) is a specialist community team in Sheffield. 

The team works with adults who have a long-term neurological condition, their families and carers.
They aim to help people to lead as full and independent a life as possible within their homes and communities. This will mean different things for each person.

The team includes:
• Physiotherapists
• Occupational Therapists
• Speech and Language Therapists
• Clinical Psychologist
• Therapy Assistants

The team work with people directly in the community, in their homes, place of work or study or in local leisure facilities.

Individuals can refer themselves or be referred by a health or social care professional.
