NHS Walk-In Centre
Any member of the public who wants to use the NHS Walk-In Centre can receive NHS healthcare from a clinician without having to register as a patient - even if you are registered elsewhere.
They can treat any minor ailments that you would usually take to your own nurse. You will be able to receive healthcare advice, information and treatment.
They are unable to deal with serious medical emergencies which pose an immediate threat to a person's health or life. In these cases you can go to Accident and Emergency at the Northern General Hospital, Herries Road, Sheffield, S5 7AU or call 999 and request an ambulance.
Anyone can use the service and remain registered with their own GP surgery or if you live in Sheffield you can choose to register as a patient of the Broad Lane Medical Centre, which is also in the Sheffield City GP Health Centre.
