Cathedral Archer Project

The Cathedral Archer Project is a day centre providing basic support to homeless and vulnerable people ages 18 years and over. The Project works with the homeless and vulnerable in Sheffield to help them find pathways away from homelessness and exclusion. Homelessness can include sleeping rough, occasional hostel spaces, camping on friends' floors and sofas, and squatting. Referrals can be made by other agencies or you can self refer.

Services available:

  • Assessment & signposting to relevant services
  • Hot food, drinks & food parcels
  • Showers and laundry facilities
  • In-house nurse & dental clinics
  • One-to-one structured support (including support with benefits, housing providers, support to attend drug & alcohol treatment etc)
  • Access to computers & phones
  • A programme of activities to help people gain skills and enjoy new experiences - including literacy & numeracy, arts & crafts, gardening, music, sports & fitness
  • The chance to gain accredited awards
  • A structured volunteer programme (service users can register as volunteers and undertake various occupational duties within the project)
  • Move-on support

Monday to Friday 8.30am - 1.30pm (Reception)

Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm (Office)
