Bipolar UK (Sheffield branch and National)
Bipolar UK (Sheffield) holds monthly structured, focused meetings for people living with a diagnosis of bipolar disorder and their families and carers:
- Join in and gain more confidence
- Get to know yourself better
- Make new friends
- Learn to manage mood swings
- Get practical advice
The support group meets every third Thursday of the month (except August) at the Quaker Meeting House from 7pm (tea and coffee), meeting 7.30 - 9.15pm. You can just turn up (no referral needed).
There is also a monthly social, and a newsletter. Open to people of all ages living in Sheffield and the surrounding area. Self-referral is preferable but can take referrals from professionals.
Bipolar UK is a national charity dedicated to supporting individuals with bipolar, their families and carers. They provide a range of services to enable people affected by bipolar and associated illnesses to take control of their lives:

- Young Peoples advice
They also work in partnership with research organisations and campaign for new developments to tackle key issues.
