I need urgent help! What to do in a crisis

Ashiana Sheffield

Ashiana Sheffield is a service primarily for Black, Asian, minority ethnic and refugee (BAMER) women, young people and children affected by abuse.

They provide refuge for women (with or without children) fleeing physical, domestic, sexual, mental or emotional abuse.  They support women who have experienced or are at risk of forced marriages, extreme personal restrictions, gang violence, female genital mutilation, 'honour'-based violence and human trafficking. They also offer advice and support to residents and outreach aftercare provision for those leaving the refuge who have been rehoused.

Ashiana also offers a 24 hour helpline for women experiencing abuse.

They also offer some accomodation and support options and an outreach service. Anyone can make a referral.
