Anxiety UK supports people who have been diagnosed with, or suspect they may have, an anxiety disorder or phobia (including body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), obssessive compulsive disorder (OCD), post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and panic attacks). They provide information, support and access to one-to-one therapy services, either face-to-face or by telephone. They have a membership scheme with an annual fee which gives a reduction on therapy services and access to specialist information helplines (psychology and psychiatric pharmacy).
They also offer a free helpline staffed by volunteers with personal experience of anxiety and an online live chat support service.
They can provide support and help if you've been diagnosed with, or suspect you may have an anxiety condition or phobia.
The helpline is open Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 5.30pm. If you'd rather text, you can text them for brief advice. This service is operational Mon-Fri 9.30-5.30. Responses are limited to 150 characters.
